At the Fence has reviewed eeBoo’s Learn to Draw Animals Art Book!

Posted by design on Jun 22, 2012 in Press Articles

The blog At the Fence has reviewed eeBoo’s Learn to Draw Animals with Kevin Hawkes art book! In the review, the writer, mother to an 11-year old daughter,
raves that her daughter “LOVES this one!”

She writes, “this book is perfect for her because it not only shows how to draw animals, but it explains some different things.  Like how the skeleton of the animal gives the animal shape.” Below is a photo of the writer’s daughter putting some of the book’s
instructions to practice.

They are also doing a giveaway! To participate, comment on the post here with your favorite eeBoo product. The winner will receive a free Learn to Draw Animals book.

The Learn to Draw Animals book is one of three in our Art Book series. You can view the others ones here. All of eeBoo’s Art Books retail for $6.00.

eeBoo Wall Cards in Gift and Decorative magazine!

Posted by design on Jun 19, 2012 in Press Articles

We have been reviewed in this month’s issue of Gifts and Decorative Accessories Magazine! The article cites eeBoo’s Wall Art Cards as one of the more visually appealing kids toys on the market.

Our wall art cards double as decoration and an educational accessory. The wall cards are all printed to include either each letter of the alphabet or numbers 1-10. Display options are endless; maybe hanging a child’s initials, propping them up in a bookcase, or using the full set of cards to adorn the room. The cards don’t come with hanging material, so how to display them is completely at your choosing! The 8″ x 10″ cards are durable; they are printed on heavy card stock that is laminated, and tied together with grosgrain ribbon.

The cards come in 6 different styles and retail for $25 for the Alphabet cards (including 25 cards) and $20 for the Counting cards (including 10 cards).

I Never Forget A Face Matching Game on CBS News!

Posted by design on Jun 19, 2012 in Uncategorized

Last weekend one of our favorite eeBoo games got some serious screen time during an CBS News story about same-sex couples raising children. The family being interviewed were playing this much loved eeBoo classic during the interview!

Watch the video here: CBS news video clip.

I Never Forget A Face is a classic concentration game with matching pairs. Match children from around the world, including children from places as diverse as France, Haiti, Iraq, and Tanzania. Not only does I Never Forget a Face build memory and concentration skills, but it provides an opportunity for parents and children to talk about diversity and different parts of the world.

Travel Games in Woman Around Town

Posted by design on Jun 4, 2012 in Press Articles

Last week, Woman Around Town raved about two of our products ideal for travel.

The first product is our Make Me a Story board. While this product is perfect for use on-the-go or at home, it’s magnetic story board allows bumps in the car or airplane to be no disruption to the fun! The activity provides an arena for kids to explore creative possibilities in a literary context. The game comes with a tin board, 28-32 different magnets, and comes in 4 themes with unique illustrations. While playing, kids develop imaginative thinking skills while choosing from endless possibilities of what their characters will do next. Woman Around Town gets it right saying,  ”It’s never too early to encourage imaginations.” And, as always, the product is made from quality materials built to last!

The second product mentioned is our Travel Notebook.  The 128-page spiral-bound notebook comes with various sections to be used while exploring the world. The notebook includes a space for practical things like a page for a packing list, a pocket for tiny keepsakes, and an address section with matching stationary. It also provides kids with free spaces to draw what they see and write about what they do. The free pages include prompts like “The Best Thing I Did Today,” and other helpful hints. Woman Around Town writes, this product “encourages powers of observation and description.”
