This season, eeBoo’s HolidayPaper Chains are all the rage! Both Gifts and Decoratives and Woman Around Town gave positive reviews this week about eeBoo’s Holiday Chains. Gifts and Decoratives reviewed the Holiday Paper Chains for their Product Wire section.

And Woman Around Town reviewed the Paper Chains for their Holidaze: Decorating section.

eeBoo’s Holiday Paper Chains feature beautifully patterned paper links, with artwork by acclaimed children’s book illustrator Melissa Sweet. Each link fits into each other, so no additional material is required. Holiday Paper Chains are the perfect Holiday gift because they act first as a family craft activity, and then serve as decoration. Kids will love to show off their finished Paper Chain as family and friends stop by for the Holidays! Each Paper Chain spans 24 feet, and included 120 total links with 40 different festive designs.

Woman Around Town Reviews the Creative Possibilities for About Face!

Posted by design on Nov 12, 2012 in Press Articles, Product Feature

Woman Around Town reviewed eeBoo’s About Face for this years’ Holiday edition. About Face, one of eeBoo’s newest games, has been met with tremendous enthusiasm and has quickly climbed eeBoo’s ranks of Best Sellers. Not only has About Face become a strong seller, but it is a winner of the Oppenheim Best Toy Award — Gold Seal, and the Oppenheim Snap! Award.

About Face features images of found objects in categories of objects arranged to look like facial parts — such as eyes, a nose, a mouth, and hair. Children are encouraged to flip over and rearrange the tiles to create a multitude of different faces. About Face’s educational benefits are wide ranging, from teaching out-of-the-box visual thinking, encouraging the development of facial expression recognition skills, to teaching color identification (choose only tiles with red objects), to expanding vocabulary as children ask parents what each object is.

Children reap the creative potential found in open ended play when playing with About Face. The writers of Woman Around Town report two kids’ imaginative play in their Holiday review. You can read the review yourself, seen below:

Travel Games in Woman Around Town

Posted by design on Jun 4, 2012 in Press Articles

Last week, Woman Around Town raved about two of our products ideal for travel.

The first product is our Make Me a Story board. While this product is perfect for use on-the-go or at home, it’s magnetic story board allows bumps in the car or airplane to be no disruption to the fun! The activity provides an arena for kids to explore creative possibilities in a literary context. The game comes with a tin board, 28-32 different magnets, and comes in 4 themes with unique illustrations. While playing, kids develop imaginative thinking skills while choosing from endless possibilities of what their characters will do next. Woman Around Town gets it right saying,  ”It’s never too early to encourage imaginations.” And, as always, the product is made from quality materials built to last!

The second product mentioned is our Travel Notebook.  The 128-page spiral-bound notebook comes with various sections to be used while exploring the world. The notebook includes a space for practical things like a page for a packing list, a pocket for tiny keepsakes, and an address section with matching stationary. It also provides kids with free spaces to draw what they see and write about what they do. The free pages include prompts like “The Best Thing I Did Today,” and other helpful hints. Woman Around Town writes, this product “encourages powers of observation and description.”
